Timex Men's Classic Analog Metal Field Expedition Watch #T44381

Designed for active, outdoor lifestyles–as well as the rigors of harsh urban landscapes–the full-sized Timex T44381 Expedition stainless steel watch adds a stylish yet rugged complement to your everyday wear. It features a large, round silver stainless steel watch case with flattened, brushed bezel that frames a white dial background with Arabic numerals, inset 24-hour notations in red, large, luminous stick hands (with seconds hand), and a date display at 3 o’clock. With the Quick Date function, you can set the date on the watch without turning the crown for every 24-hour period. Just pull the stem halfway out, and turn until desired date is reached. It also offers an 8-year battery life, water resistance to 50 meters (165 feet), and a genuine leather strap in brown. The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, (more…)

    Husband Loves It!
Ordered this watch as a daily wear for husband, thinking if he didn’t like it, I didn’t spend much, so we could both live with the choice.

  3. I purchased this watch hoping for a basic timepiece that would provide me with at least a couple of years of dependable service. The price was right, the watch was handsome looking (based on Amazon’s photo), and I was excited about using the “Indiglo” night-light feature.

The watch arrived and I was pleased with how it looked, though I had hoped the watch face would be larger. It’s definitely a man’s watch, though my subjective feeling is that the face should be somewhat larger. The instructions were certainly simple enough, and I soon had the watch set up and ready to show off. The best feature “was” the aforementioned Indiglo night-light, which is activated by pressing the watch’s crown in.

I went out that evening to join a couple of friends for drinks at a local watering hole. I showed them the watch and illustrated the Indiglo feature. The both shared my sentiments concerning the watch’s design and thought the Indiglo lighting was exceptional. I went to the restroom at some juncture during the night and washed my hands. Immediately afterwards, the Indiglo light refused to come on when activated, and still will not some nine days later.

The watch still looks great and the time seems to be keeping pace, but I’m still disappointed that the Indiglo light would extinguish itself forever after a single hand washing. The watch is evidently capable of being submerged to a depth of 50 meters, so I can’t imagine why this would have happened.

  4. Great watch for agreat price.I was my hands frequently, so water resistant is good option for me. I also work nights so having the Indiglo is a great perk. I have a previous Timex and I was pleased with it, I expect I will get many good years with this one.

  5. This watch is similar to the Eddie Bauer Field Watch for $89.00 plus tax and shipping. I have a small wrist and this fits very well. I am a Timex fan.

    Good Value
This is a nice watch for the price. The leather band is comfortable, and the face is easy to read. Having the date at the 3:00 position makes it easier to read than on my old…

    Timeless Time Piece
This watch, years after its initial release, continues to be a classic.
    The Band:
    It sports a leather band.

Simple, elegant…just as long as you don’t run out of battery.
I really enjoyed this watch…until it started losing time. I’m not sure if it is a defect or if the battery was going bad.

    Good value
This is the second watch of this model I have owned. The first one lasted 5 years. It would have lasted longer but was accidentally broken by something no watch would survive…

    Makes a Nice Gift
I personally don’t wear Timex watches, but I think the brand is reliable and well made. I bought this for a male friend as a gift and he loves it.

Great watch, setting the date is odd
This is a great watch. I’ve had it for a couple years now. My sweat usually destroys watches within 2 years and this one is holding up great against my super-villain acid sweat…

    WATCH
The Timex Men’s Classic Analog Metal Field Expedition Watch #T44381 is a good value for the money. The one drawback is a very undersized window for the date.

    My experience with Timex Expedition
I got the Timex T44381 few days ago from Walmart because I didn’t want to wait for shipping from AMZ. The watch looks very nice and works fine so far.
