  2. Big,bold, beautiful and very accurate for the short time I have owned it. It is not a watch for work where you have much movement because of the size and the easy ability to bump it against things in passing. I own 5 Invicta watches and I enjoy them all with no problems so far. Amazon has been great with the shipping. I think a good value compared to the high end brands. The only problem I have with this watch is that the band cuts into your wrist after wearing for a while.

  3. The Invicta Russian Diver series of watches has me hooked.

    Pros:
This is the third of these “massive” watches that I have purchased. This watch, with a beautiful Swiss movement is intriguing and downright distracting. Due to its size, it is difficult to fit under a sleeve cuff. I find myself and associates getting mesmerized by the internal motion of gears and springs instead of contributing in meetings. I really love the crystal on the wrist side of the watch (being able to see straight through). The price for this quality and type of watch is remarkable.

    Cons:
It like my other “Diver” is very heavy and bulky.
The canteen stem cap slightly chafes my wrist when I ride my motorcycle.
It is about double the mass of the Seiko Monster. I like others who have made this purchase would strongly recommend trying one on before purchasing.
It is only rated to 100M so it is not for serious diving (not that you would use it for that anyways).
Finally, this watch brings you back to the 60’s as it is a mechanical wind (I wind it about every other day).

In conclusion, to me the pros outweigh the cons with this watch. It is beautiful and fun to watch. I will update this review in a few months to let you know if the novelty has worn off.

15 May, 2009: Still loving it.

Bought a second skeleton watch from another manufacturer (Stuhrling) and don’t care for it. I will stay with Invictas, Seikos or Citizen from here out for the analog type watches.
