  2. I’ve only had this watch for a few days, but I have to say that I love it so far. I’m a watch guy, and I’ve never really bought a watch of this type before. I’ve always bought more dressy or sport watches. Most of the reviews on here are right on the money. The watch is light on the wrist, and comfortable. The buttons are a tiny bit tough to push, but nothing of any concern whatsoever in my opinion. The atomic sync is awesome… totally awesome. Mine syncs up on the nightstand (every day at midnight) & no where near a window. I find this model to be very attractive looking for what it is, yet still tough/rugged. I don’t think I’ll be the guy who’s overly rough with it, but I did buy it for every day wear and tear around the house, at the gym, and outdoor activities… It seems to be the perfect fit. It’s not over-sized at all in my opinion. Highly recommended so far. I’ll make an attempt to report back in after a couple of months.

The only thing I wish was that the alarm was a little louder and you had to push a botton to make it go off instead of it going off by itself.

  4. I’ve had several watches down through the years but the GW9010 is the best of the best for what I want a watch to do - tell time!

Solar means I never have to worry about the battery (stays charged with very minimal light).

6 band atomic means it’s always within .5 seconds of being dead on.

Display is crisp and shows time, day and date together which I really like.

The watch is tough and for any normal use - waterproof.

World time is a nice feature if you travel much.

The EL is bright, and can be set for auto if I need it to.

The band is large which fits my larger than average wrist perfectly.

The watch is very light weight (for such a large watch) and wears extremely comfortably.

There are a variety of timer functions but those don’t mean much to me. It’s just so nice to have a watch that’s even more accurate than my cell phone or DRV. I mean, if my cell phone was more accurate than my watch, why would I use a watch?

It’s not jewelry, it tells time. And it does that spectacularly well!

Excellent Water, Mud/Dirt Resistance & Very Accurate & Durable
I purchased this Solar Atomic Mudman watch after returning 7 other regular non-atomic Mudman Casio watches back to Amazon.com because they were all defective.

    Excellent “bang for your buck”
This is a Mudman first released in 2008.
The pictures do not make justice to the watch itself.

  8. So far I really like this watch. I was a little afraid that it would be too bulky, but that has not been and issue at all. It is on the large side compared to the timex ironman watches I have had in the past, but not so large as to look funny or feel strange.

I chose this one over the Mudman g9000 because of the solar power and atomic clock features. If you don’t care about either of these, I would go with the 9000 because it has a slightly better interface and is cheaper.

I am the kind of nerd that loves the idea that my watch is within a fraction of a second of the offical atomic clock time. For me that makes this watch worth the extra $40.
